Peel and cut potatoes, carrots, and onion. Add all vegetables to a pot.

Add 2 cups of water, and tomato paste to a pot. Chop and add garlic.

Add bay leaf, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2 hours and 30 minutes until the meat is soft and tender.
