This puff pastry dough is an excellent flaky light and buttery dough recipe for making a variety of sweet and savory pastries.
This is my family recipe, we like to make the dough at home and especially if it is easy and doesn’t consume much time.
You can also make it at home pretty quickly and then use it when you need it.
What is the texture of the dough?
This dough is known for its flaky, light, and buttery texture.
How much time do I need to make it?
The puff pastry dough is easy to make and requires only 10 minutes. You can then transform it into many delicious pies, tarts, cakes, and shells.
Breakfast quiches can also be made from puff pastry. I have a good collection of quiches, so you can enjoy making them with bacon, cheese, or seafood. Here is the quiche collection.
The process of making puff pastry is pretty straightforward.
Can the puff pastry dough be frozen?
This puff pastry dough can be frozen for up to 2 months and used later. You can remove the puff dough from the freezer and place it in the fridge for a few hours until it’s not frozen anymore. After, you can start the rolling process and baking.
How long can I store the leftovers?
If you bake the pie, cake, or pie, you can keep them in the fridge for up to two days.
Enjoy my easy puff pastry dough recipe and bake it with pleasure!
