      Note: In case you don’t have any sour cream at home, you can also use Greek yogurt.

      Light Greek yogurt will be a little liquid on the meat and unlikely to create that beautiful glaze. It is better to use Greek yogurt because of the thickness of the texture.

      The combination of sour cream and honey is just spectacular. The acid which comes from sour cream enhances the turkey flavor and tenderizes the breast. So, as a result, you will get delicious and soft turkey breast meat.

      You can serve Vegetable Ragout, Potato Gnocchi, Simple Boiled Red Potatoes, Creamy Polenta, mashed potatoes, or even a salad.

      Once the turkey breast is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 -10 minutes before slicing and serving. The breast will rest and the juices will redistribute evenly.

      How long can I store the leftovers?

      You can store the turkey breast in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the fridge, you can also freeze it and keep it for up to 1 month.

      Prepare ingredients

      Prepare ingredients. Wash and dry the turkey breast with paper towel.

      Season turkey breast with spices, salt and pepper.

      Prepare for baking

      Grease turkey breast with sour cream from all sides. (I use board to grease turkey breast, you can also use a deep bowl.) Add olive oil to baking pan and place turkey breast. Coat turkey breast in olive oil from all sides. Cover with the foil.

      Bake

      Bake turkey breast in an oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). After 1 hour take the foil off and bake uncovered for 15-25 minutes more until it's golden brown. (You will have lots of delicious juices under the turkey breast, pour them carefully with the spoon over the breast).
